Baraque de Barlet

Baraque de Barlet is a small backcountry hut at about 1,500 m, used as a basic mountaineer refuge rather than a serviced shelter. It has room for 4 people, and it’s managed as a wilderness-style stop in the Isère high country above the Romanche valley.

Plan on self-sufficiency: bring sleeping gear and all food/fuel, and expect the hut to be simple with limited facilities. Because it’s remote and capacity is tight, treat it as a target for planned stays rather than a casual option when conditions allow.
