Baraque des Clôs

Baraque des Clôs is an unguarded stone hut in the Vercors (managed by Office national des Forêts). It’s set up for free, first-come overnight use by foot parties in the backcountry around the Prélenfrey / “balcons” area.

Inside, there’s a wood stove and a simple sleeping setup for up to about 10 people. Expect no electricity or running water, so plan on bringing water and fuel-ready supplies; during winter, conditions can vary and access can become difficult.
