Baraque forestière des Mouilles

Baraque forestière des Mouilles is a non-keeper mountain shelter in the Belledonne range at about 1480 m. It’s set up for improvised stops rather than overnight lodging: there’s no bedding or designated sleeping places, and it’s essentially a place to shelter and reset. The shelter has a stove, and there’s water available within about 100 m.

Access is via a forest road from Collet d'Allevard. Use is free, with no advance booking system, so plan on first-come use and bring your own provisions for the night (including sleeping gear).
