Bergerie d'Asinau

Bergerie d'Asinau is a GR20 backcountry night stop in the Quenza area, used as an alternative to the main Refuge d'Asinau (200 meters away). It’s run as a shepherd’s-bergière-style stay with dormitory sleeping; capacity is 20 people, and contact is via +33 6 56 88 55 03.

For GR20 hikers, reservations are handled through the official GR20 reservation system run for the park refuges; bookings are mandatory for dormitories and for reserving tent/bivouac spaces, and you can generally pay on-site for a bivouac space when you arrive if space allows (booking in advance is still recommended in peak summer). If you’re arriving with a tent plan, note that Bergerie d'Asinau is not offering bivouac or tent rental there; plan to sleep in the dormitory if that’s your intended option.
