Bergerie de Font Combran
Bergerie de Font Combran is a free, unmanaged emergency shelter (cabane non gardée) in the hills above Plaisians area, used as a last-resort stop when you’re on the old GR9 approach. The structure is in significant disrepair: it’s essentially a ruin with no sleeping places, and little workable shelter space inside.
For practical use, expect a chimney, and nearby wood and a nearby source (Font Combran / point d’eau) are the main help for staying overnight. There’s no stove, and water quality can vary—bring a filter or purification tablets if you plan to use the nearby source.
