Bergerie de la Fauge
Bergerie de la Fauge is a non-guarded mountain shelter in the Vercors used for backcountry overnights. It’s a stone building with a large communal room (high ceiling) and an upstairs sleeping loft for roughly 10 people; there are tables and benches inside, plus latrines.
For staying practical, come self-sufficient: bring your own sleeping mat (no bedding/mattresses are provided). Water is available from a spring about 10 minutes from the bergerie. There’s a fireplace/wood area, but you should plan for your own heat and follow Leave No Trace practices.
