Bergerie des Chaumailloux (cabane de la SMA)

Bergerie des Chaumailloux (cabane de la SMA) is a backcountry refuge used by the Skieurs du Mont-Aiguille (SMA). It is managed by the association and sits on commune property in Chichilianne. The cabane is for members: renting requires being an SMA association member, and first-time visitors must be sponsored via the contacts listed for reservations.

Capacity is given as 15 people. To arrange use, reservations are handled through the SMA booking contacts (including a daytime reservations phone), and the reservation process includes using the provided reservation form. The cabane is not open to the public even though it appears as an “ABRI” pictogram on the local official maps.
