Bergerie du col St Martin

Bergerie du col St Martin is a private, unstaffed mountain shelter at 2,460 m on the Col St Martin in the Queyras area. It’s a “cabane non gardée” (not a staffed refuge), intended for temporary cover or emergency use rather than organized overnight stays, so expect a first-come, first-served situation with no structured booking.

The shelter is a closed shepherd hut (cabane pastorale fermée). Plan to arrive self-sufficient: bring your own sleeping system and the ability to bivouac if you find the hut closed or full.
