Bihoreau

Bihoreau is a backcountry wilderness hut in the La Traversée de Charlevoix network, operated by La Traversée de Charlevoix. It’s a reservation-required stop, and use is not free (fee applies).

For through-hike and related itineraries, Bihoreau is typically paired with other rustic accommodations in the route’s multi-day crossing. When booking this shelter, day-hiker access is limited: if you’re not doing the full or half crossing, you can book within 48 hours of your desired date by calling the office; otherwise, the standard booking flow is through the route’s reservation platform. Before starting your trek, you must check in at the visitor center at km 10.6 on route 381 for registration and information.
