Bivouac de Neuvaz Dessus

Bivouac de Neuvaz Dessus is a free, unguided backcountry bivouac near Bernex in the Chablais area. It’s not a staffed refuge, so there’s no reservation system and you should plan for self-sufficiency: bring your own food, water, and sleeping gear.

It sits at about 1,760 m, and contact for access is handled by phone (call +33 4 50 73 60 40 or +33 6 72 89 33 58 to obtain access to the bivouac). There’s no drinking water provided and no toilets, shower, or other facilities —keep waste with you and plan accordingly.
