Alpine hutBradley Hut is a Sierra Club backcountry wilderness hut in the Tahoe region near Silver Peak in the Pole Creek area (north of Olympic Valley/Palisades Tahoe). It’s reached via an approximately 4.7-mile hike or ski approach from the Pole Creek trailhead area, with about 1,600 feet of elevation gain along the route.
The hut has an upstairs loft accommodating up to 15 people and a main room with a wood-burning stove plus a kitchen area. A two-story outhouse stands a short distance from the hut, and the stay is set up for self-reliant overnight use: bring your own sleeping bag and personal equipment, your own food, and plan on melting snow for water if needed.
