Bruni's Snow Bowl Hut

Bruni's Snow Bowl Hut is a backcountry hut run by the Mount Tahoma Trails Association in the South District near Mount Rainier. It’s part of a hut-to-hut system used in winter (with groomed access roads for cross-country skiing or snowshoeing) and in summer (when visitors can hike in along forest roads).

The hut provides sleeping for up to 14 people. Reservations are recommended, and there’s a fee. The operator notes that day and overnight visitors should be self-reliant and prepared for backcountry travel, carrying the 10 essentials; ski patrollers manage the huts and work to keep guest experience positive.
