The Yurt

The Yurt is a backcountry yurt in the Mount Tahoma Trails Association’s hut-to-hut system in the South District near Mt. Rainier National Park. It’s managed by the Mount Tahoma Trails Association and is set up for winter access via groomed roads that support cross-country skiing or snowshoeing, with summer access by hike-in routes along forest roads.

The yurt has sleeping space for 6. Reservations are recommended for stays in the hut system; Ski Patrol manage the huts during the season.
