Cabane Cohardin

Cabane Cohardin is an unmanaged backcountry shelter (cabane non gardée) in the Belledonne area, at about 1,248 m. Expect a rustic interior with a wood stove and simple furnishings; bedding and cooking are on your own terms—bring your sleeping bag and supplies.

Access is by foot or track from Saint-Hugon, via a forest road/track that can be closed to vehicles depending on conditions. The shelter sits near a nearby stream, and it’s is poorly insulated, so plan for cold stays.
