Cabane d'Arrieu-Tort

Cabane d'Arrieu-Tort is a backcountry bivouac shelter in the French Pyrenees on the way toward Lac de Bareilles. It’s a basic hut with a chimney, and wood and water are nearby.

Use is free, but the hut has a history of being closed due to damage; it was closed by the ONF because it was too damaged, and multiple recent user notes say it remained closed for repairs. Treat it as an emergency-only option unless you can verify it’s open on the day of your trip.
