Cabane d´Aygues Cluses
Cabane d´Aygues Cluses is an unguarded stone shepherd’s hut in the Néouvielle area. It’s meant for backcountry overnights and is kept simple: a fireplace and a sleeping platform with a small number of places (about 5 total). Interior features include a stony base covered with large foam pieces used as mattresses, a chimney, and two small windows.
The hut sits near the GR10 route system, with the newer adjacent Refuge d’Aygues-Cluses used for fully guarded stays. If you want a room with a more “refuge-like” night and meals, you’ll generally plan for the guarded option; for the cabane itself, expect rustic, non-reservable use and come prepared to self-manage.
