Cabane de Cantau
Cabane de Cantau is an unguarded mountain shelter on the ridge between Col du Soulor and Col de Couraduque in the French Pyrenees. It’s a simple wooden hut built for overnight use, with benches inside and a picnic table.
Inside, there are sleeping provisions and a large fireplace area, but there’s no stove/fireplace service provided on-site for cooking. At 1543 m, it’s primarily used as a free, first-come first-served refuge rather than a staffed lodging stop.
