Cabane de Castillon

Cabane de Castillon is a small open backcountry shelter in the French Pyrenees near Esparros in the Neste Aure et Louron area. It’s an unstaffed, first-come, first-served stop with a fireplace and basic sleeping space, and summer and winter capacity are both 3 people.

Use your own food and plan to carry out all trash. Water is obtained by going down to a nearby trough/abreuvoir. The hut has a wood fire available (bring your own firewood if needed) and is associated with the GR10 area near the Signal de Bassia.
