Cabane de Gazon Vert

Cabane de Gazon Vert is a backcountry alpine hut in the Vosges at 928 m altitude, offering overnight stays in 7 rooms with 20 couchages. Solar electricity powers the hut, with showers available for guests.

Access is not by car (except for people with reduced mobility). From Storckensohn, follow signs for Gazon Vert, park at the cascade parking, then walk about 30 minutes up the trail marked with red-and-white rectangles. From the mairie of Storckensohn, it’s about 1 h 45 on foot, or about 40 minutes from the parking of Rouge Gazon. The hut takes cash, credit/debit cards, and cheque, and use is by reservation recommended.
