Cabane de Juzet

Cabane de Juzet is an ONF-managed pastoral hut in the Pyrenees (about 1,357 m). It’s an open refuge—no caretaker—and it’s used on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservation required.

Inside, the hut is set up for up to 10 people and includes 2 mattresses. It has a picnic table and bench, a fireplace, and concrete sleeping platforms. The interior has basic gear such as a table, bench, chimney/fireplace, and sleeping bedding/platforms; a small set of tools is also in the hut (including a saw and an axe).

For water, there is a captured source feeding small troughs just south of the cabin; summer flow can be very low, so plan as if water may require extra effort or careful management.
