Cabane de la Fessie
Cabane de la Fessie is a small, unstaffed wooden shelter in the Vercors (France), used for basic bivouacs. Use is free and it’s geared to emergency/backcountry use rather than comfort: limited facilities and no running water or electricity.
You’ll find a stove/poêle inside, and access is by foot from the Route de Revety area above La Rivière; the cabin is reached after a short walk from the forest parking. There’s no reservation system—plan on first-come, first-served use, and bring what you need (food, and extra stove fuel if required) for a minimal overnight.
