Cabane de la Peyrouse

Cabane de la Peyrouse is a small, unstaffed stone hut in the Vercors (Balcon Est area) used by backcountry hikers. It sleeps up to 8 people and is equipped with a wood stove; there is no running water on site.

Because it’s unguarded, expect self-sufficiency: bring your own sleeping bag and food. The hut has a capacity to share with others when it fills, and it’s a good option for overnight stops between the Vercors eastern-balcony routes and the descent back toward Saint-Andéol.
