Cabane de Loudenvielle
Cabane de Loudenvielle (also known as cabane verte) is an unmanned backcountry shelter in the Pyrenees near Loudenvielle, used for emergency stopovers and free bivouac-style sheltering rather than staffed hut stays. Use is first-come, first-served—there’s no booking process—and it’s the kind of cabin where you should assume you’ll be self-sufficient with what you bring.
Plan on bringing what you need because it’s an unmanaged shelter: no waste service is provided, so carry out your trash. Expect to rely on cash if you end up near services; the cabin itself is not something you should treat like a paid, scheduled accommodation.
