Cabane de Mauvesi

Cabane de Mauvesi is a small, open pastoral hut in the French Pyrenees (Arrens-Marsous, Vallée des Gaves area), used mainly for storing gear rather than as an overnight destination. It has two stacked sleeping spots (two mattresses) and is a “cabane ouverte,” with drinking water available in front of the hut.

The hut is on the normal way to the Pic du Midi d’Arrens, and it includes a stove/chimney option. Expect a basic setup; it’s specifically used for pastoral utility, and there’s a note of potable water right outside the hut.
