Cabane de Pré-Peyret

Cabane de Pré-Peyret is an unstaffed stone backcountry hut in the Vercors high plateaus, placed at the junction of major routes (GR91/GR93). It sleeps about 15 people, with part of the capacity on the ground floor and the rest on an upper sleeping area on a wood floor.

The hut is equipped with a wood-burning stove and a small table; there is no toilet and no fireplace provided. Fire is restricted in the protected-area rules: dogs are prohibited, and camping is only allowed as bivouac (tent set up after 17:00 and taken down before 09:00). Use is free and there is no reservation—expect first-come, first-served access.
