Cabane de Sausse Dessus
Cabane de Sausse Dessus is a small, unstaffed stone backcountry shelter on the GR10. It’s a two-room setup with basic seating and a fireplace, suitable for an emergency stop or a brief overnight rather than a planned base camp.
It sleeps up to 3. The interior includes a table, 3 chairs, and a fireplace; upstairs there is a sleeping platform. Water is available in a nearby stream/torrent but must be treated, and there’s no wood nearby for fires.
Use is free and there’s no reservation system—plan on first-come, first-served access when it’s open and unlocked.
