Cabane de Sencours

Cabane de Sencours is a closed backcountry hut in the French Pyrenees near the Pic du Midi de Bigorre. Use it as an emergency shelter/bivouac rather than a staffed refuge—advance reservations are not part of the hut model.

At 1,959 m, Cabane de Sencours is a basic, unstaffed shelter. Plan to be self-sufficient: bring your own sleeping gear, and expect no services beyond the shelter itself.
