Cabane des Aiguillettes
Cabane des Aiguillettes is a small concrete-and-cement hut at 1,880 m in the Vercors, suited for backcountry overnight stops. It sleeps about 2–4 people on two stacked wooden sleeping platforms, with a table and benches inside; there is no heating or electricity, and no stove is provided.
The hut is unmanaged and open for free use on a first-come, first-served basis (no booking or host). Bring your own water plan: the closest water point is the nearby Fontaine du Pas des Bachassons (about 1 km south), and there is no fireplace. It sits in the Réserve naturelle des hauts plateaux du Vercors, where you must keep to the local rules—no dogs, no fires, and camping is restricted to bivouac timing (tents only after 17:00 and removed before 09:00).
