Cabane des Roudons

Cabane des Roudons is a small, free mountain shelter in the Écrins massif area. Use is unguided and open-access: there’s no booking process with the forest authority, and the intention is that one cabin remains available for forest workers while another serves as an emergency or passing shelter.

Arrive prepared to self-manage your stay—bring what you need and follow mountain shelter etiquette (leave the space clean and take your waste with you, and plan around limited water availability).
