Cabane dets Coubous

Cabane dets Coubous is a free, open (non-staffed) backcountry hut in the French Pyrenees at 2,041 m. Use is first-come, first-served (no booking). It sleeps about 4 people (summer and winter capacity 5), with basic built sleeping platforms and a fireplace.

Bring your own bedding and plan for limited supplies: there are usually no mattresses, no running water, and no firewood provided. The hut is set near the Barrage de Dets Coubous / Lac dets Coubous area, with nearby routes to other shelters in the Néouvielle sector.
