Cabane du Boussu

Cabane du Boussu is an open, unmanaged backcountry shelter in the Viscos area (Luz-Saint-Sauveur), used as a base for day hiking and as an overnight option in both summer and winter. The hut is at about 1,630 m and has a fireplace, with water available (including a nearby source).

Sleeping capacity is 6 in both summer and winter, and it’s has two stacked bunks plus one mattress—so plan to bring your own inflatable sleeping pad/mattress. Firewood is available nearby, but expect to bring a small means to get it ready if conditions or prior users leave less behind.
