Cabane du Camarguier

Cabane du Camarguier (also known as Cabane du Pra de l'Aup / Chourum Camarguier) is a completely unstaffed backcountry hut in the Dévoluy mountains. It’s a small, key-operated refuge that is closed in the recent notes, so plan with the expectation that you may not be able to access the interior.

For supplies and overnight planning: the hut has a nearby water source—a fountain a short distance from the hut—and drinking water should be treated. The shelter is renovated but kept locked, and it’s not a place to rely on unless you’ve verified access for your exact travel window.
