Cabane du Courraou Gran

Cabane du Courraou Gran is a backcountry shelter in the Mairie de Fos area, used in summer by a shepherd. It’s an unguarded refuge style stop: plan to be fully self-sufficient and ready for a first-come, first-served stay rather than a managed hut with staff on site.

Use a packlist built for a small mountain refuge—bringing your own water treatment and fuel needs as needed. Capacity is limited (around 4–8 people depending on season), and the shelter is typically used alongside summer grazing activity.
