Alpine hutCabane du Liantran is a small, unstaffed backcountry hut in the Pyrenees National Park (cœur), sleeping up to 4 people on wooden sleeping platforms (bat-flanc). It was a former pastoral shelter rebuilt in 2019, with new timber framing and a greened roof, plus a refurbished door and wooden sleeping board.
Access is primarily on foot via GR10 or D103 to Lac d'Estaing, then along a marked trail following the Gave de Labat de Bun. Use is first-come, first-served; bring your own food, stove setup, and a sleeping bag—no indoor cooking heating is provided.
Basic water is available nearby (within about 100 m), but there are no latrines or toilets at the hut; plan for waste carry-out/management based on conditions and local practice.
