Cabane du Mont Séverin

Cabane du Mont Séverin is an unstaffed communal shelter (abri communal ouvert) in the Jura near Bians-les-Usiers, France, used by hikers as a simple backcountry stop. Use is free and works on a first-come, first-served basis—there’s no booking system or reservation process tied to the shelter.

The shelter is set at about 900 m elevation and is “ouverte au public” with a fire area equipped with a grill grate.
