Cabane du Pisset

Cabane du Pisset is a free-use backcountry hut at 2,150 m in the Queyras. It’s unstaffed and non-reservable, intended as shelter rather than a staffed refuge, with a place on the floor for about two people to sleep.

It provides no bedding and no stove/heat equipment, so plan to be fully self-sufficient (sleeping system, food, and shelter contingencies). Access is by the sentier du col Pisset from France; from Italy the route described is the very poor and exposed line from the refuge Granero via the colle Vecchio.
