Cabane du Pré d'Antoni
Cabane du Pré d'Antoni is an unmanaged, unguarded pastoral stone hut at 1,850 m in the Écrins National Park. It is used on a first-come, first-served basis and is primarily there for shepherd use; when shepherds are in residence, the hut may be locked or closed to the public.
Expect very basic shelter: when it’s not open to visitors, it can function only as a rudimentary emergency refuge, without running water, firewood, or mattresses. The approach described for the hut commonly starts from Réallon, with access via Vallon de Chargès (the last part involves crossing a torrent).
