Cabane du Querelay

Cabane du Querelay is a non-staffed mountain shelter near Montgenèvre/Val-des-Prés, used as a backcountry overnight stop. It has a wood stove and sleeping space for about 10 people (mattresses only).

For staying in the hut, expect to self-manage your night: there are no covers on the mattresses, and bedding/linens are not guaranteed. Bring what you need for heat and cooking—people report wood supplies may be limited right at the hut, so plan to carry fire starter and be ready to cut wood if required.
