Cabane Espigous

Cabane Espigous is a non-guarded mountain hut in the French Pyrénées, used as a basic pastoral/emergency shelter in the Aulon / Massif du Néouvielle area. It’s open 24/7 and is intended for first-come, first-served use rather than scheduled stays.

Plan on very simple facilities: a place to shelter and sleep, with no dependable water or electricity. Since it’s free to use and unstaffed, bring what you need to stay warm and self-sufficient, including a plan for if the hut is already full.
