Cabane ONF de l'Infernet

Cabane ONF de l'Infernet is a small, unstaffed backcountry hut used in the Taillefer massif area. Public use is on a first-come, first-served basis—there’s no reservation system, and the hut can also be taken temporarily by ONF/RTM agents when work is planned.

Inside, it’s set up for basic overnights with bedding for about 4 people on mattresses. Heating is via a wood stove; there’s also an external stone basin with a tap, but the tap water is shut off outside the summer period, so plan accordingly. The hut has latrines nearby and no mobile signal reception in the area.
