Cabanon du Marquis

Cabanon du Marquis is a small backcountry shelter on local hiking trails near Roquefort-la-Bédoule. It’s set right beside the path, with a few tables and benches out front for breaks and picnics.

Inside, it has a working fireplace with smoke escaping a bit, plus plenty of wood available nearby. There are also tables and chairs inside, and water can be found in a rainwater catchment container.

For summer plans, treat wildfire restrictions as part of your route prep: access to the forest can be regulated by the prefecture in dry-season periods, including time windows tied to the official fire-danger level.
