Cayenne Hut

Cayenne Hut is a backcountry wilderness hut in Otago, New Zealand, used as a tramping overnight stop in the Mount Stalker area. It sits at about 918 m elevation and lies roughly 7 km southeast of Middle Hut.

For planning, Cayenne Hut is reached as part of Mt Stalker hut-to-hut tramps: one commonly described route approaches via the Cayenne Spur turn-off from the main Otepopo Spur route, then follows the spur down to the hut area.
