Chalet alpin du Tour
Chalet alpin du Tour is a Club Alpin Français backcountry base at 1466 m at the village of Le Tour on the Mont-Blanc massif. The chalet sleeps 87 people and has 4 floors, with a layout that includes dormitories and sanitary facilities on the upper floor, plus common space such as a dining room, bar, lounge, and a terrace.
Use runs as a guarded summer operation only: it opens from 1 April until late September (winter closure), with no winter accommodation portion. Sleeping and services are set up for stays during the guarded period (with English available among the staff languages). Reservations are handled through the chalet website; the guardian can be contacted by phone, and the chalet’s listed guard schedule for the coming season runs from 1 April to 27 September 2026.
