Chalet (refuge) ONF

Chalet (refuge) ONF is an open-access forest refuge managed by the Office National des Forêts (ONF). It’s set up for basic backcountry use with a wood-burning stove, firewood, and shared furnishings (two tables) plus two blankets and a map for guests. Use is free and there’s no reservation requirement.

Inside, expect no drinking water, no sleeping mattresses, and no toileting or washing facilities like showers. The refuge has a fireplace/stove arrangement for heating and cooking, but you’ll need to bring your own sleeping setup and handle water and sanitation planning yourself.
