Gîte d'étape de Sainte-Blandine

Gîte d'étape de Sainte-Blandine is a backcountry stop in the Parc naturel régional du Pilat (Loire 42), run by Sylvie and Franck Sarda. It sits between St Appolinard and St Julien Molin Molette on the route of St Jacques de Compostelle (GR65) linking Genève and Le Puy en Velay, making it a useful base for GR65 walkers and other hikers who want an off-road arrival point at about 700 m altitude.

Access is via a dirt track about 1.5 km long; cars can reach it only from St Julien Molin Molette. The gîte is closed for the end-of-year holidays. For trips planning, it can help with itinerary ideas for star-based day outings from the gîte.
