Habert de la Pierre
Habert de la Pierre is a very basic, unstaffed mountain shelter in the Belledonne area, used as a shepherd’s hut and emergency shelter. It sits at about 2,030 m, above Refuge Jean Collet, and is reached by climbing the trail roughly 100 m up from the refuge toward the Col de la mine de fer.
There are place(s) for two on simple wooden bunks. Expect a sparse interior with little insulation; bring your own sleeping setup and be ready for the hut to be used by shepherds in summer. Fire-building is not allowed inside, and there are no latrines or heating provisions provided there. A spring is available nearby (within roughly 100 m).
