Habert de la Sitre

Habert de la Sitre is an unstaffed shepherd’s shelter at 2100 m in the Belledonne area. Use it as an emergency or for a short daytime stop; there are no sleeping mats or blankets, and it isn’t a place to rely on for a comfortable overnight stay.

The shelter is for shepherd use during the grazing season; it is closed outside that period (and may not be usable for bivouacking). If you need water, there can be water availability from a nearby source when conditions allow, roughly within 100 m.
