Kapitany Lodge

Kapitany Lodge is a backcountry alpine hut at Mount Cain, used as a winter-style lodge accommodation built within the main parking-lot area. It functions as a hostel option inside the Kapitany Lodge building, with multiple floors and shared cooking and living space.

The Kapitany Lodge Hostel is described as having three floors, with a boot room on the first floor and bedrooms plus washrooms on the middle floor, and additional room space on the top floor. The hostel includes electricity and central heating, flush toilets and sinks with hot and cold running water, and a kitchen with access to a deck with a BBQ; bedding and bath towels are not provided, so bring your own supplies.
