Keebles Hut

Keebles Hut is a backcountry hut in Kosciuszko National Park, associated with the Geehi area near Behrs Flat Campground. Use of the hut is tied to the campground experience: the campground can be used with standard camping arrangements, and overnight stays operate on a first-come, first-served basis within the campground.

Plan hut trips around access and winter closures. Behrs Flat Campground is closed in winter from the June to October long weekends, and vehicle entry on the Alpine Way can be affected by winter road closures during that same window. Be prepared to pay the standard campground booking fee plus the park entry fee for vehicle access, and aim to secure your spot on arrival under the first-come rules.
