King Hut

King Hut is a backcountry camping area on the King River in Victoria’s Alpine National Park. It’s used as a base for regional sightseeing and basic camping, including activities such as hunting, bushwalking, 4WD touring, and horseriding (with seasonal horse-riding access). Camping here is free and no bookings are required for standard camping, though camping with a horse requires reserving horseyards and portable yards in advance.
